PSG really put it on them and Liverpool pulled it out last min. PSG reminds me a bit of chelsea early this season, high on the offence but open to goals. They can definitely do something in the 2nd leg.

I even thought my team was going to draw last night. But to do what we’re doing without Saka, Martinelli, Jesus, and Havertz, is quite remarkable! And people do forget we didn’t have Odegaard for the early part of the season. As Chelski showed us in 12 and 21, and Real in 22, anything can happen in knockout club footy! ️

I should have clarified, there is and always will be a huge difference between being a top club in England vs a top club in France.

Okay, if that’s your metric, yes I agree. The premier league, along with la liga, are the top leagues in Europe. (If Bayern didn’t dominate so much, I’d put the Bundesliga up there as well).

And coming back from 0-3 is a tall order. So looks as though Bayern are going to advance.

I don't want arsenal to win this but I believe it's very possible, they have an ok route to the final and as you said, it's knockout footy, plus you will have saka back soon, Jesus and Havertz need to be moved on if you ever want to win the league and odegaard too tbh. I'm saying all of that but I do think you can join the other London teams that have European heritage

Spurs is Spurs, when they lost to Leicester at home, I stopped betting on them.
I don't know anything about CB but then again I don't know shit about NHL and I bet on that.

From a casual march madness fan, when the brackets come out:

the most frequent upset is the 12 over the 5.
I've seen 11 over 6 upsets as well as 13 over 4 as well.
16 over 1 has only happened like twice in history, but they've all happened in the past 8 years. This is a sign that the cbb landscape is achieving more parity, and with the rise of NIL, we can definitely see competition and talent being spread out more.

In the landscape, most of the attention was either on Duke because of Cooper Flagg, the SEC, and the Big Ten. Not a lot of attention on the other conferences, which I think I might be able to take advantage over the public because of it. I have to see what the brackets look like next Sunday but I think we could be prime for major upsets this year.

Champions League picks!

Lille v Dortmund: Dortmund really should’ve won the first leg, but they let Lille come back into this tie to even the score at 1-1. Outside of a loss to PSG, Lille have been absolutely fantastic! I could see this going either way, but I think I’m taking Lille to qualify based on form. (And the lack of form from Dortmund).

Arsenal v PSV Eindhoven: Back Arsenal with a draw no bet option.

Villa v Brugge: Villa at home should advance, I’m taking Villa.

Atletico v Real: BTTS and over 2.5 landed in this fixture last week. However, I think the best bet is just BTTS, as I think this match could end in a draw.

Anyone betting on baseball, Opening Day this Thursday, March 27th?

In my experience, betting on baseball seems to be the most ideal on opening day, Friday-Sunday games, along with October playoffs!

Anyway, I think I'm going to be backing the Phillies and Dodgers to win their opening day games.

(I think the Yankees could do it as well, however, without their Ace Cole, I'm a little apprehensive about backing them!)
