Seeing as how the playoffs start, I'll give my thoughts on future bets.

The WS winner will likely come from the National League, so for a futures bet, I'd wager something on the Dodgers and/or Phillies

For the Wild Card Series, I am taking these bets as a series winner, not an every day pick.

Series winners for the NL: Dodgers, Cubs
Series winners for the AL: Guardians, Yankees.

After those series happen, then I'll give my thoughts on the Division Series playoff matchups.

I'm a Dodger fan and I would not suggest picking the Dodgers in this series. The pitching staff especially the bullpen is a mess.

Fellow Dodgers fan here. Our starters are great, but yes, the bullpen is a major concern. I’m still bullish though. Our hitters are on a roll and we’re clicking at the right time. I took my profits on Game 2 and rolled them into +108 tonight.

You can agree or disagree those are our rights. But respectfully, I have to question anyone who says they’re not picking their team to advance, especially when they’re the defending champions. Until that mantle is overthrown, to be the best, you have to beat the best.

But yes, bullpen is a massive concern. (Especially because they blew the lead the Dodgers had against the Phillies (twice) in Sept. However, playoffs are a different animal. And extra starters, Sasaki, Kershaw and/or maybe Glasnow will be trusted once the starters (Ohtani, Snell and Yamamoto) do their thing. Plus, I think Sheehan, Treinen, Vesia and Banda will still get important outs.

Also, Cubs, like the Yankees, are coming in hot. If we know anything about momentum in sports, especially playoffs in MLB and NHL, they matter quite a bit!

Also, if you look at the history since the Wild Card series was adapted in 2022, NL top seeds are abysmal in this round…

1st.... Courtland Sutton has to get 40 yards against my NY Jets who can't play defense, in London.... nice easy one to start the day.

Then the early games;
