Yeah, my initial thought process right away was is it possible that the OP was in on this. There's no way to know if the OP was in on this or if it was just bad luck and CJ miles or someone saying they're CJ Miles decided to scam. Either way this did happen and it has to be looked at.

@MP1984, I'm not coming at you. I don't know what happen. Though you have to see how this makes you look. You gave another member an email address to a provider and that provider ended up scamming him. It's going to have a lot of us see you in a different light. Again, I'm not coming at you, but it's just how things look. I saw you gave an explanation up top. I'll just contact you guys and see what happened.

I don't think MP1984 holds any blame here. I think the chick is just flaky. Some of these girls have so many contact emails and so many deposits coming in, that they cannot keep track.
ALWAYS go with a agency. Many good reasons why, but the main ones are this:

1. A third-party person in the mix whose reputation and business is on the line if he or the provider flakes out
2. The agency keeps track of all of the back and forth communication, to reduce that burden on you, the bookee.
3. In MOST cases, there is NOT an up-charge to book through an agency.
4. Peace of mind and greatly reduces the risk of getting scammed.

In my opinion, it just makes more sense.

Some of you asked me why I didnt do any type of verification (video call, getting a message from her socials etc). I admit, I have done all these types of verifications before, but in this case, I did not do any of it. In hindsight when I started wondering why I didnt follow any of my usual verification steps, I think it's because I did not suspect that the person I was communicating with was NOT CJ. Not even for a moment.

FWIW, I believe @MP1984 is just another hobbyist like us and he is speaking the truth and he shared the email address of CJ which he used to communicate and book his date with. If I didnt believe this, and I believed it is him who scammed me, I would have framed my post very differently.

I know @king-sama4u2nv volunteered to get @MP1984 's and my email threads to validate both posters. I genuinely appreciate this offer and I am happy to share my email correspondence with CJ (with my email address and my job information blocked out (which CJ asked in my email correspondence). I think it is important we maintain high trust with each other in this community and this process by King will ensure that happens!

I agree with this. In fairness she was pretfy flaky in responses. I cant really do it from my phone and i wont log onto this site from my work compiter so when i get home i will share my email correspondence as well with my work verification and person email redacted out

Definitely not losing sleep over it. But wanted to let the community know cuz the original review caused quite a few comments and I worry that others might have also reached out to CJ.

I also reached out to this address which was sent to me via DM. Dodged a bullet it seems.

I sent 50% deposit via coinbase which is what she wanted. It worked oit fine in the end for me. But i also dont have a respomse since you mentioned this to me a couple days ago. Here is the email i got for her from one kf her friends christianneramelb2000@gmail.com. was a little skepticle at first cause it wasnt on her socials. But then googled the actual name on the email. I guess that is her birth name.

Yeah CJ Miles always to me felt like the type of person who was attracted to clout and all that other shit. If I approached her via email with nothing except money, she's going to treat me as a sucker.

Some people aren't worth it no matter how hot they are. CJ is one of those people I will never book.

Agreed on this. OP didn’t come on here motherfucking anyone. Just shared the warning. We need much more of this.

Deposits are always risky, but you can’t get away from it at times. I treat them like money when I gamble. Never send an amount that you aren’t completely ok with lighting on fire at that moment.

At that advice, not deposit related, but I may have just been taken for a grand by a PSE that I’ve known for years and very much trusted.

Giving it a few days to see if it resolves itself before outing her. But the lesson is still the same. No matter what, don’t trust anyone with any amount of cash you aren’t willing to burn.
