It's always sad to lose someone in the industry whether they provided or not. Kagney Linn Karter is the most recent industry performer to pass away unexpectedly and the industry along with our community will miss her.

Kagney Linn Karter has sadly died at the age of 36, reportedly after taking her own life at her residence in Parma, Ohio.

Born in Texas and raised in Missouri and Pennsylvania, Karter initially pursued a career as a dancer in adult clubs before transitioning to Los Angeles to explore opportunities in acting and music. She entered the adult film industry in 2008 and quickly gained recognition, accumulating nearly 1,000 credits over her career, including seven XBIZ Awards nominations.

If you've been in the hobby long, then you know Kagney was under Lourdes. Didn't here any reviews on her, but I can imagine she was a great time. She was very exclusive, so the ones who've seen her lucked out. As for the ones who missed her, join the club.

This all being said. What the fuck is going on in the industry? It's been less then a month since Jesse Jane passed and now Kagney is gone too. I don't know much about the industry to cast judgement, but to have two legendary actresses die like this seems like this isn't normal.

I believe mentally some people in the industry are struggling. We don't know what's happening behind cameras. Financially, the same we don't know what happening behind closed doors. I assume when it comes to a performer especially one with such a high status like Kagney, her Onlyfans would be paying off her mortgage twice over. Yet, that's me assuming and making an ass of myself.

This is a really shocking news and the fact that it's said she committed suicide says that there are stars who have issues with mental health and I really wonder what's going on in the industry because two legends passing away after the two months of 2024 is not good I wish her soul R.I.P

I think the whole Valentine’s Day period also plays a significant part for anyone even remotely struggling mentally/emotionally to escalate that struggle unfortunately.

This is incredibly sad! I was just looking through Lourdes earlier and the thought crossed my mind on booking her. Especially because she had the “New” bubble on her profile. I did use to watch her scenes. You never know what people are going through. RIP.

She had battled mental health problems for years. Had a completely unhinged meltdown on Twitter about 3 years ago that showed just how damaged she was. So sad cause i was always a fan. I was very surprised to see that she was trying her hand at providing again.
