I wanted to see a different provider in Vegas that caught my eye and she asked for the basics that most ask for but then asked also for my room number in advance. I don’t know why but I’ve never been asked that before and it threw me off. Am I overthinking it?

Some agencies do it to call the room and confirm that you’re staying there. If you’re on the strip, they need you for key card access up the elevators anyways.

If you’re not familiar with the Vegas market, a lot of agencies / providers do a “show up fee” which is usually the listed price that acts as a down payment. So be prepared to spend more if you want to actually have sex.

Ex: They say 300 over the phone but to have sex might be 1000 total so you have to pay another 700 or they leave with the 300.

Considering that it is Vegas, you would think with all of the competition, a " show fee" would eliminate a provider from contention.

its a quasi scam. THere are very little details on the original post, so hard to know who they are dealing with. but in vegas , all those cards they hand out for strippers/escorts, or the trucks with ads that drive around (I assume that still is going on, havent been to vegas in 10 years), they are all just hustles to bleed money from you. you call them, they tell you its 300 or 400 per girl, they show up, take the money as 'show up' fee and then negotiate price to do anything. and they name outrageous rates to strip or fuck, knowing that most people will just give up and they get the 'show up' money for like 20 mins worth of work. THis is not to say that escorts in vegas as scams. its just those places that are littering advertisements all over.

Nah, you were right on the money. It was $500 to show up and then an additional $500 for actual sex and then had to negotiate additional tip for MSOG. Still had a good time but definitely prefer to have all of those costs to be upfront and transparent.

I’m glad you had a time! I agree I like making a fully informed decision but I guess that’s why they do it.

My experience was 4 years ago. I found my provider through TER and they had good reviews and the listed rate matched what I typically pay in NYC (No mentioning of fees).
So I felt comfortable booking.

An hour after our scheduled time. I eventually got a call from the booker that they had a flat tire and were running late but still wanted to meet and would make it up.

Once they showed up I had to time it up so there wouldn’t be any suspicion when they walked through the casino and met me at the elevator.

It was definitely the girl from the pictures so that was at least accurate. Once we got to the room she asked for the money upfront (300) and to use my bathroom to freshen up which I didn’t mind as I do anyways. Then, she asked me what extras I wanted and told me about the “show up fee” and that the money I just gave her would be applied to the final cost (1000).

I declined doing extras thinking we were still having sex. She then mentioned that she needed double what I gave her for any sexual acts and offered me a HJ. I politely declined as I didn’t want a HJ anyways but, definitely not for $600.

In fairness to her she really tried to strike a deal with me but I wouldn’t budge as I didn’t like the trickery and mentioned everything said leading up to her coming from the booker and how I found her.

She eventually gave up and asked if I would at least walk her down the elevator to avoid suspicion. As upset as I felt being scammed the gentleman in me obliged. The salt on the wound at the end was she gave me a big hug coming off the elevator and apologized for the experience but, greatly appreciated me walking her down.

if you hobby long enough there is bound to be a time you’ve been scammed, baited, or stolen from. This was my turn.

TLDR: Paid 300 for a hug

learned this the hard way 4 years ago twice. 1st time i bit the bullet on sunk cost even though it was a covered BJ by 2 girls. 2nd time i took the loss of the appearance fee. since then i stopped seeing regular girls and prefer PS through an agency when in vegas. no nonsense.

Also could be for safety reason so that someone will know her location if something happens to her like if she misses a post session call/text.

I usually provide room number after check-in.
