So this might be somewhat of a dumb question, but I'm a little new to this. What things are off limits to discuss with a provider? Providers want to enjoy their privacy. Obviously you shouldn't ask for someone's real name, but what else is off limits? Is it okay to ask where they're from? Or where they might have gone to school? Ask them how their holidays were?
Obviously no one wants to get too personal/private and I don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Just wondering what topics are safe to discuss and also curious as to what y'all usually do to break the ice? Thank you!
