Aubrey went on her social media last night letting Wellington, New Zealand know she’d be providing for two days while there. At the same time, she also let her fans know why she was no longer seeing clients anymore, and I have to say—I was a little confused. Aubrey didn’t go into much detail, but essentially it came down to bad reviews being made about her. She said those reviews were enough for her to step away from providing altogether, with a small mention of burnout as well. Even her partner chimed in, saying it’s really no longer worth it when one or two reviews can damage her reputation that much.
I agree with that. If people are spitting on her name—provider or client—and others are believing it, then it’s up to Aubrey to decide what to do afterwards. If she’s not feeling appreciated, it makes sense she’d step away from the hobby altogether.
What I don’t get is where these reviews are. I haven’t specifically gone looking for reviews of Aubrey, since it wouldn’t matter much to me anyway—I’d still want to see her. But I haven’t seen or heard of a single bad review involving her. My guess is these reviews must be floating around New Zealand and Australia, since those are the two places Aubrey tours the most. I don’t know. What I do know is that what Aubrey might not be getting in those continents, she can damn well find here in the States.
