Sometimes it pays to confirm or double confirm details prior to starting a booking. Especially if you’ve been doing this a while it can be easy to fall into complacency and problems come in.

Confirm date and time - do this the day prior, take into account time zones if traveling

Confirm location - make sure you told her the right hotel, give the address, as there can be multiples in same city

Confirm balance - make sure both parties understand and agree what’s owed, even if it’s the same kind of booking you’ve made before

Confirm payment - count your cash withdrawal at the bank because a human teller can make mistakes. Count again before the session starts. Lastly, while some may not agree, let and watch the provider count before the session. After that there can be no ambiguity once they leave.

I would personally recommend that ANYTHING left ambiguous, make sure to turn it from an assumption to a fact before you leave the first session with them. Do not expect to do this over texts before that session, however. That's a good way to ensure the first session doesn't even happen.
