While talking with @king-sama4u2nv yesterday, I mentioned that I carry a backpack with me to my dates, stocked with some key supplies I might need before, during and/or after the date, and he felt this might be helpful to the community, so here’s a list of everything I carry with me, whether it’s a quick date or an all day thing:
  • iPad - for entertainment on the ~1 hour commute both ways.
  • AirPods - to privately listen to X-rated audio when watching Twitter clips music or an audiobook.
  • Hobby phone - a separate phone for photos, videos, etc.
  • A travel grooming kit - it contains a toothbrush, toothpaste and deodorant, so I can brush either in a bathroom at Penn, Grand Central and/or in the hotel (I haven't used the deodorant yet).
  • Mouthwash - for a fresher mouth after brushing or after a meal.
  • Mints and gum - for a more pleasant taste than toothpaste or mouthwash.
  • Imodium, Gas-X and Tums - in case I have or am concerned about diarrhea, gas or stomach problems.
  • Cialis - I carry an extra one with me in case my initial dose doesn’t do the trick. Only useful for longer dates, but I’d rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
  • Advil - Cialis usually gives me a very light headache several hours after I take it. Sometimes it’s enough that I want to take something. Also, just in case.
  • DayQuil - I’d cancel if I was sick, but for allergies or lingering effects of a cold that’s no longer contagious, DayQuil has always worked as well as any allergy pills, nasal sprays or decongestants, and it doesn’t make me tired. Note that it “might” interact with some ED meds, and I’ve been lucky to not have to take it yet so take that into consideration.
  • Wipes - you never know when you’ll need to use the bathroom, and toilet paper just doesn’t fully do the trick, now does it? I pack a bunch in a small ziploc bag.
  • Backup battery pack - in case one of my phones needs some extra juice while on the go.
  • Charging cables - for the backup battery pack and/or the hotel room.
  • Cash - a little extra cash in a plain envelope in a deeply hidden compartment, just in case.
  • Tripod/selfie stick - I don’t really film, but I’ve done it once, and it’s better to be prepared.
  • Tryst VIP card - don’t leave home without it!
  • Extra glasses - I’d like to be able to see the woman I’m with if my glasses broke.
  • Napkins - because why not?
  • Mask - in case someone near me on my commute is coughing, sneezing or sniffling a little too much. Better safe than sorry for both me and the provider.
  • Extra clothes - depending on the length of the date, the weather and my comfort level with the provider, I may carry an extra pair of underwear, an undershirt, socks and/or a casual shirt.
Of course, don't forget to charge the backup battery pack from time to time, and refill any meds or supplies you use.

I’ve gotten a ton of compliments from providers at how prepared I am for just about any possible eventuality, and they’re particularly happy with my oral care supplies. Everything fits into a standard size backpack with lots of room to spare and it's fairly lightweight. I call it my Swiss Army backpack.

The only real downside is having to carry the backpack to restaurants and stow it somewhere if I’m lucky to take her out after and we’re not going back to the room.

What about you guys? Does anyone else do something like this? What else do you take with you?
