I’ve been retweeting, tweeting, liking, and engaging with sex workers—primarily those who also provide —and when I look at the comments, I get upset on their behalf.
I often see horrible comments under these wonderful sex workers’ posts on Instagram and X, saying things like, “You’ve slept with (x number) of men, isn’t your body tired and used up?” and other mean-spirited remarks. I usually hit back at these comments because it must be difficult for the sex workers themselves to read them, especially with the stigma surrounding sex work.
As my former sugar babe once told me, “It’s my body, I can do what I want with it,” and looking back, she was absolutely right.
It’s a tough economy, and everyone has to make a living. People should be free to do what they want without facing such judgment.
Society in general seems to forget that sex workers are often fantastic women who simply happen to do what they love—and enjoy the many amazing experiences that come with their work.
It’s usually these so-called modern-day feminists who make these derogatory comments. They seem to hate their own boring lives, so I’m not surprised.
I know we have a few providers on EA, and if you’re reading this: we love you, and you’re doing an amazing job
