So now the floodgates have opened, and shit is getting all kinds of weird. In the span of a few weeks, performers have been coming out with stories that they themselves have been impacted by being in the industry. Numerous females have flooded their social media with one story after the next of being harmed by other actresses, directors, and male performers. At this point, everyone seems to be letting their truths out, one allegation after another, and with no real way to prove a lot of it, people are taking it as gospel regardless. Although this has nothing to do with us, there are times when little things seep into our world as they do theirs.
Nina Nova, an adult actress as well as an activist for SWers, decided to drop a long list of offenders within the adult community. Whether she created the list or not remains to be seen, but it wasn’t long before people were calling to have it taken down. The list consists of companies and individuals alike, with their names and allegations written for everyone to see. Some of it we already know, while the rest came as a surprise to me. One name in particular, who was a provider for a time, stuck out more than the others, as my BBW Boyz will see.
Marilyn Manson, BBW mainstream actress, has some hard allegations brought up about her. I have no idea if any of this is true, but I would say this changes my perspective about her a little. I was always planning to see her whenever she was ready to come back to providing, though with this, I’m a little torn. We talk about leaving certain things out of a booking staying clear of specific topics in order to keep the atmosphere enjoyable. Though I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve flat-out known something about that woman that would make me not want to bring it up. Will I be in one someday? Hell yeah, but it’s nothing as serious as these allegations. I can keep saying these are nothing more than allegations and have yet to be proven, though ultimately it comes down to how badly you want to see this person.
Again, I still believe what happens in their world has nothing to do with us. Our opinions don’t matter, and even if we did bring it up, no one in that world would care anyway. This is my opinion, mind you. Still, our actions speak for us on this side. If any of us were to see Marilyn Manson, I don’t believe I’d judge. If you want to see that person and can ignore anything they’ve done prior, then I understand, but at the same time, I would be at a crossroads with myself. This could be seen as black and white, while others see the gray area in the hobby. It’s something to think about for sure.
