My single biggest regret is being way too nice and generous with a SB that I knew for years.
I sent cringe messages, over-gifted, and let her walk all over the boundaries. It ended badly and cost me time and money.
I´ve wrote a lot of posts around that subject - I regret the money that I spent, because I sometimes go back in time to see how much money it really was and just calculates how much I would have had of extra "funny money" if I had put all of it in the S&P 500.. but I try to avoid the thoughts of it. Though still hurts a little, financially speaking.
Back to the topic in question, other common regrets I see in general and what I´ve heard in my 11-years in the hobby is: Getting emotionally attached too fast, or wasting money on low-effort providers. Those 2 are the main ones probably.
