The proper way to do business

I am going to write bout this and while it might come across as me tooting my own horn it is not meant to sound that way. The purpose of this post is to explain the correct way that business should be done. (at least in my opinion)

Last month I had a gentleman from NYC book some time with Madison Wild for Wednesday 6th,2025. He flew in to specifically see he, got tested and was very much looking forward to seeing her (I don't know if he is in this forum or not)
Madison hit me up the day of to let me know she had an emergency she was trying to handle and that she could not see him Wednesday.
we did some rescheduling and he moved some things around his flight and hotel rooms so he could see her Friday morning at 9am.
He double checked that it would work, I double checked with her and she said yes so he pulled the trigger and made all the necessary charges to his schedule.

Friday morning 630am I got the message from Madison that she was still not available and very disappointed that she couldn't make this happen. I told her that life happens sometimes and there are things we can't control. I told her not to stress I would handle it

Now the very last thing I want to do as a business owner is to tell a customer that I could not make the thing they want happen even after i asked them to spend more money to change plans to accommodate me and a model I represent. I texted him and waited for him to respond.
He was understanding but bummed for sure. Without missing a beat and without being asked I told him to tell me the cost of his flight and his room.
I refunded him and he was grateful.

The reason i post this is cause while not everyone asks for a deposit refund most just book another girl, or use that deposit as a credit to see someone else. The reason is that I know other agencies wont do what I did. They don't treat what they do as a business. 99% of businesses will do what they can to make things right with the customer. Most businesses understand that even if that customer never returns they most likely wont be out there trashing the name of your business. Most of the time that customer will be more than happy to return and give you their business because they know that things are done correctly

This line of work for the most part is not looked at like a business by most of the owners. They think they are to big or so untouchable that no matter how much bad yelp reviews they get it wont hurt them.
I don't feel that way and will always do my very best to make sure that things here at Tryst are done correctly and that not only are the models I represent going to be treated correctly but so are you the customers
