I don’t know if you can call this a glow-up since
Kate Bloom hasn’t really changed herself physically. The main reason for this glow-up segment is to highlight how much a provider has changed physically. However, when I look back on previous segments, the changes often involved a shift in appearance rather than adding or removing enhancements. You could say the same for Kate, as her glow-up depends on how you look at it.
Just to clarify, there is nothing wrong with these women’s physical appearances. This is simply an observation showing how they’ve changed their looks, potentially leading to more bookings from clients and studios. I’m not sure if that’s the case for Kate.
When Kate debuted back in 2019, she looked as if she had just stepped out of high school. This impression stemmed from her petite frame and innocent look. In reality, she was about 20 years old when she entered the industry. At the time, Kate’s look was minimal: a nose piercing and two tattoos. That was it. She was a small, petite cutie, standing at just 5’2” and part of the “itty bitty titty committee.” You could easily imagine her fitting into your pocket. Today, Kate remains that petite beauty without enhancements, but her tattoos tell a different story.
If you’ve seen recent pictures of Kate, you’ve probably noticed the monumental number of tattoos she’s gotten during her six years in the industry. She’s gone from having a couple of tattoos to several, covering almost every part of her body—including her face. I couldn’t find any recent photos showing the tattoo on her forehead, but it’s very prominent and hard to miss.
Even though the tattoos have become a significant part of her look, they haven’t stopped her from getting booked. She has continued to shoot for a few studios, though she didn’t appear in many scenes last year. As for client bookings, she was previously on TA’s roster, but she no longer is today.
I don’t believe the tattoos have played a huge role in her bookings. Many clients and studios care little about tattoos. If anything, the tattoos symbolize Kate becoming her own woman, no longer the 20-year-old who first stepped into the industry.
