You figure out this hobby session by session, month by month, and year by year. I’ve tried it all over my 11 years in the hobby. I started out being genuinely nervous during my first outings, but slowly built enough confidence that these days, I’m not bothered at all by whoever opens the door. That is the first major keystone one needs in order to have a good run as a hobbyist - although it can easily take 1, 2, or even 4 years in the hobby before you truly realize it.
The other key component - the skill that separates average experiences from great ones - is learning to take charge.
Taking charge is about controlling the session.
I’ll start with a short story from my early years in the hobby. Back then, I didn’t know what to do or how to act once the provider greeted me. I wouldn’t initiate kisses, I wouldn’t start foreplay - I would simply stand there, passively waiting for her to make the first move. BJ first? Kissing first? Something else? I followed her lead every single time.
That should never be the case.
These days, if the provider states DFK in her ad, I first hand over the cash - and once she re-enters the room, I pull her in and initiate deep, confident French kisses. From there, I steer the session exactly how I want it to unfold. Because I’m in charge. I take charge.
This isn’t something I learned overnight. It developed naturally over time - through experience, repetition, and simply getting older and more comfortable in my own skin.
High confidence and taking charge from the very first minute (after the cash is handed over) is KEY.
I also wrote about my biggest regrets as a veteran in this hobby, in another post.
