All of last August leading into the draft a number of members came forward talking about the money pot. Everyone had their own opinion on how the entry fee. As I went through them prior before writing this I noticed no one really talked about the entry fee being to high. Surprisingly enough a lot of people wanted it to be higher as they wanted the provider they really wanted to see to be completely paid for. Not mad at that whatsoever.
The prime goal of last years Fantasy League was enjoyment. I also wanted to get in at least 12 people to make a league. I didn't suspect that it would be as popular as it was then prior to making it. I knew making a pool that could only being used to see a provider played a part in it, but had no idea I'd get enough people to make two different leagues. With the entry fee 150 given to by 12 people I assume that was enough where people could bet while also still having a little more money in their pockets as some of us use our extra money for providers. To know that people wanted it to be higher is seeing a lot which is why I made the poll.
This polls main focus to get in that sweat spot of where the entry fee will be. Just because you vote on one specific fee does not mean it will be that towards this years Fantasy league. The point is just to gauge where people are at with all of this. I'll most likely do another poll before the week is out to decided exactly how the money pool is going to be divided out as last year it was a winner take all and this year we'll most likely do a first, second, and last. Keep this is mind when voting on this pool.
I do want to make the pot bigger for the winner of this year. Last years pot was good, but we didn't break $2,000 and to really enjoy yourself it has to be somewhere significantly above that.
