I liked to be able to see the donations but I am not like the idea of sending over a photo of my id and a selfie.

Going to have see what I will do

I believe the prior site required a a photo of you ID. Same as with TA. The selfie is new but most ID's already have a picture so something else to consider.

The photo was part of the verification process, to conduct a background check and it was sent to a 3rd party. It wasn’t something kept on file or even something she could see.

I have been through a lot of system conversions and upgrades throughout my career and maintaining system records for transferring to a new system is one of the most important steps. Not sure why this apparently didn't happen here.

I’d put good money on her old site being taken down by her hosting company, not something she initiated, so she was probably taken off guard. That’s why it’s taken so much time for long time providers to get added back.

In the other post when I was doing all kinds of lookup when her site was being migrated. To your point I think it was Microsoft Azure kicking them out for violating terms of hosting agreement base on th content.

Trin (or whoever is answering their emails at the moment since the language for these last two emails I sent seems different) says new membership verification is done by them and not some 3rd party. I asked if they keep the data or keep the pictures we're sending in. They said their policy has not been ironed out yet for keeping that data and they'd get back to me.

As TA noted, this new host she's using is strict about sexual content. Probably won't be long before this new site is taken down as well

I spent a chunk of my career either doing or consulting on large system upgrades and conversions....and the ones I did never.made.the headlines Not having every database and piece of data backed up, then reloaded on a clean platform and verified as a rollback option is either sheer incompetence or.gross negligence.

BTW last time this happened T restored paid verifications for free

So I got around to reaching out to PC and asked them to set me back up on the site without me providing a picture or verification info. I reminded her of the ladies I’ve seen through her service.

She told me to sign back up but gave me a VIP identification picture (that I’m assuming she created and is only giving out to her existing clients that she knows) to use for the photo submission.

So all I had to do to get signed back up on the site is provide my full name and the same email I’ve used with her for years. No selfie, no ID, no 3rd party verification.

Can’t promise its this easy for everyone, but was very easy for me.

In whichever case this is just painful for all of us being returning customers .. her migration failure and lack of backup should not constitute another request for us to reapply and be verified.

I bet, if you wait long enough, you will get some email saying:

hi luv xxx will be in town until xxx... Blah blah blah

It's not like the email account got deleted.
