The error involves a misprinted URL on the boxes, which mistakenly links to
www.wicked.com—a pornographic website offering cinematic adult content. The correct link for the film’s site is
www.wickedmovie.com.
The dolls, featuring characters like Glinda, Elphaba, and Fiyero, have been available through major retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Target since late September. However, shoppers soon noticed the NSFW website reference, sparking reactions on social media.
