How can I start making amateur POV films?

Ever since I went through the escort rabbit-hole, I have been urging to create POV content with my GoPro. Is there a process? Do I just get lucky?
Ive seen very few non-PS providers but none allowed filming. I want to make it for the enjoyment. So how can I start?
