“Guide for First-Time Hobbyists,” it’s about time to cover first-time Viagra users - or more broadly, any ED medication really.
Let’s get straight to it.
The first time I took Viagra, I went with 50 mg. I was genuinely nervous because of the long list of potential side effects you see in the leaflet or online.
In reality, you can forget about 95% of those - they’re very rare or mild for most people.
Ideally, you should take Viagra (Sildenafil) on an empty stomach. That’s when it works best and fastest.
Effects can begin in as little as 20 minutes. You’ll start to feel more “ready,” and notice increased blood flow. After around 30 minutes, you’re fully set. It works equally well for solo use or with a partner.
A very common misconception: the pill alone won’t give you an erection. You still need sexual stimulation - whether that’s kissing, a BJ, porn etc. Anything that gets you aroused.
The half-life of Viagra is roughly 3 - 4 hours, which is more than enough time for multiple rounds if needed.
Now, let's talk about side effects.
The likelihood of side effects increases significantly with dosage. Personally, I’ve taken 50 mg with zero side effects, and 100 mg where I experienced a mild to mid headache - nothing more. Generally very manageable.
If 50 mg doesn’t get the job done the first time, increase the dose to 75–100 mg the next time. Don’t overthink it or wait too long to adjust - dialing in the right dose is part of the process.
One more thing: avoid mixing alcohol and Viagra. It will reduce effectiveness and increase side effects. Stick to water or soda when taking it.
