If you can't log into the main site (and the lost password does not work), changes are that your account was retired already. If that is the case, you will need to re-sign back up

So I’ve never been a paid member, but I tried to sign up to become one and couldn’t because it says my account is already in use. But then when I try to log in it says invalid log in. Should I try and reset the password?
