I can't have been the only one who's shown up to a session early to check for LE. It was part of my routine as a hobbyist. It went along with making sure I didn't smell like ass and checking the location of the session. Checking for LE was a chore and I made sure I diligently made time for it no matter what.This isn't something I do much anymore now that I only see regulars and PS. Still, we all started somewhere in the hobby and I started off in Backpage. If you weren't doing a little recon when find girls off that sus ass site, then you were risking your life. To me, recon was the and still is best way to avoid a night in jail and a very sad phone call to literally anyone.
Client recon went like this. I always left for my session with plenty of time for whatever problem may arise. Whether it be traffic, a fire, a flood, whatever, I always left early enough to give myself a nice buffer. When and if I did get to the session early, I'd find a bus stop or a bench near the hotel where I watched the comings and goings of people while at the same time watching the cars parked on the street.
As I write this I know how crazy this shit sounds, but this is what got me through the hobby as a rookie and in my belief kept me out of jail. I remember when I once booked a session with a provider in Harlem and when I turned the corner to her apartment there was a squad car just sitting there. Now this is Harlem, so their is a very small chance that squad car was there for her or me but I wasn't taking that chance.
This very much may sound like some who's watched a little to much cop shows, but we were all like this once in upon a time in the hobby.
