The move to BlueSky is taking a lot longer than I expected. That whole mass exodus earlier this year had me convinced providers would finally see the light, but apparently not. Most of them are still hanging onto X, trying to survive the constant chaos. The past year on that platform has been one long rollercoaster ride that feels fun until you realize no one is actually operating the controls. When it’s not one problem, it’s another, and like many of you, I’ve just been rolling with the punches as they come. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been preparing for the slow, inevitable shift to BlueSky.
Lately I’ve been giving my BlueSky account much more attention interacting with account holders, posting more regularly even if it’s nothing groundbreaking, and most importantly, building a PS Provider Starter Kit. The idea came from frustration: as a client, I found it surprisingly difficult to locate pornstars who provide on BlueSky. If I’m struggling to find them, I can only imagine how difficult it must be for everyone else. So I decided to do the virtual legwork, so that when the community eventually migrates, we’re not wandering around blind.
For those unfamiliar, a starter kit is exactly what it sounds like essentially a curated list of accounts worth following based on shared interests or aligned ideals. Since many of our ideals tend to line up with PSs who provide, creating a kit centered around them felt necessary. The kit has grown to include around 120 providers. Some are active now, some were active in the past (because you never really know who might return), and a few are content creators who were added for me to keep track of. Eventually I'll make a starter kit for them. Tracking them down wasn’t always easy, especially when so many accounts were abandoned not being touch since 2024. When someone hasn’t logged in for a year or more, it becomes a bit of a guessing game, so if one or two accounts turn out to be ghosts, don’t hold it against me.
One thing I will warn you about is hitting “follow all.” I've done this with with a few elite companion starter kits and lets just say female companions aren't the only companions I was following. Had to purge the fuck out of my FYP page.
All in all, I hope this starter kit makes things easier for the community. I’ll keep updating it as time goes on to make sure it stays current. If you’re using BlueSky or plan to migrate soon, it’s worth checking back on it at least once a month so you stay in the loop.
