This, to me, seems self-explanatory, but it really comes down to common sense. Then that ol’ phrase that we hear so much comes up once again: common sense isn’t common. What some of us know to be morally right or logical is something we are all taught. It makes people do idiotic things, like give money to a provider to do as she pleases without letting her know it was part of the rate. Who the fuck does something like that?

Above, you can see model Evangeline with a written post explaining what she went through. A client gave her $500 to use in the casino. She was egged on to gamble the money away, and Evangeline did just that. Now, I’m going to assume from the post and the tone it gives that the client didn’t tell Evangeline the gambling money was part of her rate until said money was gone. From how I look at it, this seems pretty underhanded and a little manipulative. For the client to not tell Evangeline that the money she was given was part of her rate seems, to me, as if he was doing more than he should. Dude booked two days, and by Evangeline’s rate that’s $10,000, which is a hell of a lot of money. Regardless, there’s nothing other than the client himself that could lead Evangeline to think that money was part of her rate.

I’m not trying to shit on this dude. It’s just as possible he assumed she would think it was part of her rate as it is that he was manipulating her—we really don’t know. Still, it all comes back to the client doing more than he should have. If I’m paying $10K to see a provider and I don’t have any spending money for her to walk around with, then I’m not giving her anything other than her rate. I’m not going to play that part to give off the assumption that I have extra money to spend when I know I don’t. Plus, I don’t know about you all, but if I’m booking a provider for two days, I’m also going to have some walking-around money. We aren’t going to sit in the hotel, or wherever, for two days fucking. As expensive as Las Vegas is, I’m sure if you look hard enough you can find some inexpensive things to do.

Providers aren’t mind readers, and clients shouldn’t expect them to be. If something is part of the rate, it needs to be stated plainly no bullshit. Anything else creates confusion at best and resentment at worst. The hobby works best when both sides know exactly where the lines are and respect them. There are two sides two every story as I've been learning that more and more everyday in this hobby, in this case is just seems pretty obvious could have happened here. Good ole' fashion miscommunication. You gotta love it.
