Finding the ATF or even the SB is truly amazing. It really is. You feel like you're “in love,” even though deep down you know it’s roleplay — yet you still get that WOW feeling in your stomach. You get multiple dopamine hits a day when she writes to you on WhatsApp. It feels special.
However, after having experienced both, I’ve come to a conclusion after a lot of trial and error over the years.
Every gentleman should “test” his ATF/SB and here’s what I mean. I’ll back it up with a personal story.
The SB I’ve written about repeatedly… there was one thing about our setup or relationship, or whatever you want to call it, that actually hurt me. It was something I realized only after I had given her several gifts, including one in particular.
Her birthday was coming up, and I was excited because I was flying to Madrid to be with her on the special day. So I did what any man who feels “in love” and wants to impress would do: I went to the Gucci store and bought her a signature GG Marmont wallet for her birthday.
I flew to Madrid. The big day arrived. I gave her the wrapped gift, and she seemed very excited when she opened it. Either she truly was - or she receives so many wallets and bags from different men that she has the reaction rehearsed. Looking back, I suspect the latter.
Either way, she did what most people do when they receive a new wallet: she transferred all her cards and cash into the new Gucci wallet.
Good.. or so I thought.
Five months later, we met again in Madrid. I didn’t say anything, but when she pulled out her wallet to pay for something (for herself), it was her old wallet.
I was immediately disappointed. I wanted to confront her but didn’t. I just thought about how ungrateful she seemed.
Looking back at the whole situation, that moment taught me something important. That’s why I believe it’s wise to “test” your ATF or SB in subtle ways — to see whether she genuinely values you or whether you’re just another man in the rotation.
Feel the girl, is she lovable or cold? Always follow your gut, it's correct 100% of the time.
