Recently I had a date with a ps on tour. We were in her room when the room landline rang. She picked up and I could hear on the other end it was a guy who knew who she was and was trying to meet her. Somehow this person found out where she was staying and decided that it was a good idea to call her at the hotel in order to reach her directly. She was very thrown by it and told him to email the address in the ad if he wanted to see her. He pressed a little more and she repeated that he should email instead. He seemed to accept it this time and she hung up.
Most of you know this already but this kind of thing is very NOT OK. I've seen how creative people figure out where a girl is/will be based on scraps of public info. There have been a few stories online as well. If you happen to find out where a girl will be, don't view it as a serendipitous sign that you should use that info to reach her. Same goes for any kind of personal info you stumble upon. Keep it to yourself. I know privacy is dead but there's a protocol that should be respected.
Use their booker or contact info they publicly post. Don't approach them in the general public, don't hit them up on their civie accounts, and don't use their real names. None of that is ever received well.
