The swab in my throat is FAR worse than the one in the ass. I had more discomfort when I burned my mouth on a hot bite of food at dinner tonight than with all of the anal swabs combined, and I've had about 15 tests done. I don't want to risk being turned down for BBFS because I didn't have a swab done. Better safe than sorry.

I've gone back to using the urgent care location in Queens that does the blood, urine and swabs. It's almost always empty when I go. It's $15 more than the Manhattan locations, but it's relatively conveniently located for me now that I figured out how to get there without driving, and the doctor and staff I've seen there always treat me like royalty. I feel like they handle my samples and my business like their professional lives depend on doing it right, where in Manhattan, I feel like they are nonchalant about it and could mess up without even thinking.

And I know TTS primarily serves the porn industry, but they have to know they get business from people like us and shouldn't turn down the chance to make more money when they wouldn't be doing anything illegal by expanding their testing facilities.

The customer base doesn't exist. McDonald's probably doesn't have any restaurants in the middle of the Sahara. TTS doesn't have its own lab in NYC for the same reason.

TTS, you need a wholly-owned BioCollections lab in NYC that doesn’t charge any fees and tests same day. This is unacceptable.

You're right though NYC doesn't have enough business for a full-time office for TTS there. It would be a waste of money for them and they are too focused on making money to let that happen.

I know how businesses operate and what profits mean. I’m not saying they should just open up a lab with expensive equipment for me and a couple of other guys who get tested regularly for PS escorts. Maybe they could partner with someone to either sell their dormant equipment services at their own lab or use the services of someone else’s local lab so we don’t have to pay more, wait longer and hope FedEx isn’t impacted by weather, Microsoft outages or incompetence.

I just wish there were a more convenient and less expensive way to get tested in NYC without having to rely on a $35 or $65 FedEx, which has failed to deliver on time for me a couple of times, and which includes $60-$75 lab fees that aren’t collected at a main headquarters location.

Regarding the oral and anal swabs, maybe @trystagency can elaborate on whether gold panel plus mgen blood+urine is sufficient for BBFS with PS escorts in his experience, because if that’s the case, I do have several other more convenient options to consider. The initial direction I was given was that both swabs were necessary.

It's really not that bad. The swab is tiny, smaller at the tip than a Q-tip is. You don't have to put it more than half an inch at most inside. It wouldn't be even your first knuckle, if we're using fingers as a reference.

Also as mentioned, nobody does it to you. They give you the swab and the container to put it in, then have you go to the bathroom and do it yourself. I've heard some guys just take the swab out and put it directly in the container, no buns involved, and say they did it. Not advocating for this since it's dishonest, but hey I can't control what you do.

This idea that you're not a gay/bi male pornstar so you have to find any way around this extremely painful experience and still get to bare fuck a porn star is so overblown lol.

Have the swab touch the anus and just barely penetrate it.” I go slightly deeper, maybe a half inch to an inch, because I barely feel it and don’t want an inconclusive result.

They also have LA, Vegas, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa where you don’t pay a 3rd party draw facility fee or shipping fee, or rely on FedEx, and get results either that night or overnight.

I just had this happen again. I went to an NYC location Monday after seeing Kate Dalia (Porn Companions) so I would have a 7 day test for someone else. When I was there, they said the FedEx guy hadn’t come yet so it would ship that day and be in Miami Tuesday. When I checked FedEx that night, they didn’t have the package yet. I called the facility Tuesday morning and they said “yeah, sometimes the FedEx guy doesn’t come” but assured me the samples were packaged on ice and would be ok. The woman I spoke with said she’d bring my package to FedEx on her lunch break. When I checked at 4 pm and saw FedEx still didn’t have it, I called again. I was told that woman didn’t get a chance to go there and they’d make sure the package got to FedEx when they left the office at 5 if he didn’t show, and they’d said they’d refund my $75 draw fees. My samples made it and I got my negative results at 7 on Wednesday, but if I was waiting for a job or a date on Wednesday, that scenario would have screwed me over, and is far too common. But this is why I no longer test on the last possible day unless I have no choice.

Thankfully, I’ve never had that happen. And I would hope that no one touring NYC would demand that since it’s impossible. Best case scenario is test one day and get results before 8 PM the next night. And the results occasionally come in overnight the next night. So even if everything is timed perfectly, it would be 48 hours at best.
