CLEAR opend a main facility in Santa Ana, CA near my corporate office. No longer going through TTS and going to satellite urgent care facilities. The main office in Santa Ana is also where they process the test so no more shipping issues or shipping cost. Best thing is the have professional phlebotomist. No more drawing blood issues.

I am so jealous. I know NYC isn’t exactly a porn mecca but it shouldn’t be this difficult, this expensive or this unreliable to test here.

When I tested in Orlando in June for my date with Theodora Day (Porn Companions), it was so much easier and less expensive, and I got my results overnight. I’ll be doing that again next week and look forward to the experience.

I've tested in NYC the last three times and no issues. I haven't gone to the two places in Manhattan. The other is the most expensive unfortunately, but have never had any issues with my tests so I'm not going to complain.

The Urgent Care center in Queens? Yeah, they're the one I prefer now, and I also haven't (yet?) had any issues with them. I'll be going there again Friday.

The people at the NYC location I go to don't treat me poorly, but they've messed up a few things a few times with shipping and test kit/ice availability. Forest Hills hasn't missed a beat yet. They're always so respectful and I feel like I'm royalty when I'm there.

I’m testing in Forest Hills on the 6th for a date on the 10th and then going to try testing at 57th or downtown on the 10th in the afternoon for a date on the 13th. If those facilities can’t help that day, I’ll have to go to Forest Hills on the 11th and hope for the best. I know my test from the 6th will still be within 7 days on the 13th and testing immediately after a date means nothing but I promised the ladies I’m seeing on the 13th that my test would be 3 days old or less. Yes, ladies

Hoping NYC doesn’t screw me over.

I have to drive 2 hours to LA to do TTS within 7 days of seeing whomever, then drive back to LA or LV for the meeting.

I don’t trust the satellites not to mess something up. I’d rather make the drive.

Its all a journey, enjoy the ride lol

I had to test in Manhattan a few weeks ago. I usually test at Northridge in LA.

Got to the Lexington Ave TTS affiliate and was told they had no ice. First time I’ve ever been told that and I’ve been testing with TTS for about 14 years now. I left pissed because I thought I messed up my date for the next day but turns out the provider wouldn’t have done bbfs anyway.

If I’m ever planning on hobbying in NYC again then I’ll have to make sure I get tested in LA the day before I fly. Can’t rely on NY testing again.

So yeah, don’t have much to add other than, testing in NYC does suck and you guys deserve better especially given how many tours happen in your neck of the woods.

I’ve considered flying to Orlando or Miami to test and then flying home. Yes, I’m serious. The extra time and money is almost worth the unknowns and headaches of satellite locations in NY.

Always have to call ahead with the NYC locations. I even call Forest Hills just to make sure. One day I was heading to Forest Hills and the LIRR was doing track work so there was no service to that station. I panicked and called Lexington Medical and they had tests and ice so I was ok. Although I could have gone to Penn or grand central and taken the E train to FH.

But I keep saying this and you ended your message perfectly - this shouldn’t be this difficult!!!

No they have been clutch. That's why I said I will continue going to them. Never had a hiccup with them and always in and out. I tested once in Jersey and the last handful of times has been with them. Never used the places in Manhattan.

100 percent - it’s the one center that has been reliable. It’s inconvenient as hell but I just go here rather than the midtown location (57th st).

I know the results come from reputable labs like quest and labcorp, but have you had any issues with pornstars accepting to the results?

I’ve used stdcheck a few times too. Only drawback is it is slightly more expensive than TTS/IKMS when you include MGEN. I just sometimes don’t trust having my sample mailed off and getting back in time, so stdcheck tends to return things faster.

They also test for Herpes 1&2. That’s only thing I think that is extra compared to TTS/IKMS.

I have never had a problem with pornstars not acccepting STDCheck. In fact if there is any issue with using the website, you can use the Quest or Labcorp app to show the results as well. I usually just pick whichever one is more convenient for me but luckily the city I’m based in its fairly easy go either route.
