For most of us who has 9-5 jobs our employers will NOT be giving us more for merit increase and frankly that 3-5% can never offset inflation or increase in cost of living. Bonus are not what it used to be in my world since it heavily dependent upon the economy. We have been in a recession since 2024 and inflation has gone through the roof. Now with this war it will drive the cost of transportation up which leaves even less in budget for hobbying. I agree with the demand and supply and I am sure there are still people who have done and is still doing extremely well and have so much money not to care. Yet I would say the dynamics would be changing because if demand drops and there is overwhelming supply of girls they can either go after only those 2-4% elite to fulfill their asking price but given massive choices would many choose to repeat with the same girls ? I doubt it. Eventually the girls tactics would have to change if they want to recap their lost market share ( of the middle class target market).
At least that is my wishful thinking.
I wouldn’t say it that thought process is off base tbh. Most women wouldn’t want to leave money on the table and giving up a large market share of middle class to upper class guys in favor of 2-4% elite men won’t bode well for them in the long run. That even amongst escorts there is quite some competition that these women have to engage in considering the demographics, location, and their own personal upkeep. There are quite a bit of girls, but their target demographic is a short supply. Even with luxury services you can very well price out a large portion of easy cash flow that would be foolish to give up in favor of trying to land a whale of a SD. Then tack on name brand recognition as well, which in order to get to that point there has to be significant branding, promo, personal investment through other social streams (Instagram, twitch, YouTube, Porn, etc.) Look at a Kiara Mia, for example, she charged absurd prices for the longest until she had to scale it back. Now truthfully, women who’ve made their coin don’t necessarily have to scale back because this industry is technically recision proof, but if their idea is to maximize revenue then price point needs to reevaluated at some point. Long and short of it is this —women with enough cache and healthy clientele base CAN AND WILL raise their prices and justify them with inflation and rising costs. Most women could do so in theory, but the justification will not necessarily be there. If most not all girls made their services $2000 floor price a lot of women would starved themselves out of the profession unless they work other jobs to supplement their income. Which would defeat the purpose of them coming into this lifestyle to begin with. Look no further than Onlyfans….y'all see how Onlyfans is saturated and only few creators make bank off their content. The same principle would apply as some girls can market themselves better than others and then factor personal taste, location, demographic, services offered. You can see it becoming more and more newbies or new clients getting screwed in favor of existing ones favoring loyalty and consistency among providers above all else
