-Don’t use your real phone number
If you’re planning on contacting a provider from your real phone number and want to remain discreet it’s better to use a burner phone number unless you plan to pay using something like Apple Pay (granted that you have an iPhone). Google Voice allows you to get access to a 100% free phone number as long as you have an actual US phone number and a Gmail account. It allows syncing across devices and lets you make texts, calls, and deliver voicemail.
-Use an alias
Obviously it’s going to be expected that you have to share some sort of official ID with a provider and you SHOULD do that for safety reasons ofc. But if you wanna be low key, then ask that the provider refer to you by a nickname or your middle name just to be sure. For example if your real name is “Jordan Marcus Clinton”, ask for them to refer to you as “Jay” or “Marcus”. But just make sure to keep the aliases consistent because if you contact another provider and they ask for references from others and your aliases don’t add up then you can end up in a bit of a pickle.
-Dress well
This is a no brainer but dress like you actually belong and don’t dress like a bum lmao. If you’re meeting up with a provider in an upscale lavished hotel lobby and she comes out the elevator looking completely bedazzled up, meanwhile you just threw on your nearest rags, it’ll be VERY obvious to everyone else in the vicinity what’s going on. You don’t have to throw on your Sundays best, but dress like you belong. Get a haircut, wash your face, brush your teeth etc. When it comes to style of dressing I’d say semi business casual is the way to go. A nice shirt, well fitted chinos or dark denim, a pair of good shoes, and maybe some jewellery like a watch or bracelet. It gives the vibe that you two both are familiar with each other and didn’t just meet recently. Also it gives a great first impression to your provider that you actually care about the time being spent between the two of you.
