Your best bet to not go "down in flames" is to do the slow, thoughtful work (i.e. don't be a fucking idiot slave to your basest addictions, duh) to find someone you like who's sane (99% of escorts/clients/pimps/website managers/etc. are bat shit insane and many are even downright evil, it's a needle in a haystack to find the good humans in this biz), stay loyal and drama-free (treat her well, stay away from everyone else, control your addiction to chaos/variety/risk/other nuttiness). The fewer people you deal with in this world, the safer you'll be. Tryst included.
Every way you can imagine to lie, has been done for literally thousands of years in this game. There is zero guarantee of safety in ads, on sites, with agencies, via phone numbers/emails/photos/etc. Your only safety is in truly knowing the woman you date, never dealing with anyone who's garbage in any way, and staying where things are calm and less risky.
The problem for most men is that they secretly crave the destruction and mania of their addictions, are crazy/lazy themselves and prefer fake relationships to authentic connection (which always takes time and effort to create and sustain), and are often attracted to malevolent people (most pimps and site owners are really not good people; think about what kind of person can send a young broke woman to fuck a stranger, knowing full well it may hurt or infect her, end her freedom or even her life, and take some of the money for it...that is not a decent human being on any level who can sleep at night earning a living that way).
I've been in this business for decades. I know it very, very well. Your best bet is to be very careful who you choose, and stay with that person. That takes overriding your craving for madness. That takes doing the work to quell your boredom, becoming a more interesting person with a great life, rather than seeking constant stimulus via new shallow artificial stuff provided to you by usually-dishonorable people who will, quite literally, sell almost anyone/anything for a buck. They want you addicted, since it pays them.
So no, don't ask me to say anything about Chendo. Fuck him and fuck his empire.
