There have been comments and threads that touch on this but I figured it deserved a dedicated post.
What actually brings us here and keeps us coming back? Everyone’s reasons are different. Some are in relationships that work in every way but one. Others just genuinely prefer this over the complications that come with dating. There’s no single answer and that’s kind of what makes it worth talking about.
For me I’m at a point in my life where a relationship isn’t something I’m actively pursuing. Career is the priority right now and a part of this is genuinely exploring my sexuality and what I’m into while being an outlet.
I also genuinely enjoy the connection within the time we have, getting to know someone, their experience, what they enjoy about what they do. Some guys here enjoy that full experience, taking them out, dinner, actually getting to know them before anything else and I get that. For me I appreciate that it has a natural end. No situationships, no ambiguity. If it’s a great time the option to book again is always there and that balance honestly works better for me than most conventional dating.
And honestly, getting to be with someone you’ve watched and actually filming it or living out that fantasy is its own thing entirely. Guilty of that one too.
Growing up Catholic I had a very specific image of what this world looked like and almost none of it was flattering or accurate. There are real problems in this industry and I’m not dismissing that. But what actually paying attention over time showed me is that a lot of women in this industry, whether that’s on the content side or escorting, genuinely love what they do. The two obviously overlap but even just watching interviews and Q&As from actresses who have nothing to do with escorting you see that same energy. Of course some keep it purely transactional and that’s fine too, but there’s something different about someone who’s actually into it and that comes through.
I personally prefer actresses and that’s mostly where I gravitate but have had a few providers that were equally as great. Either way the safety aspect is a huge part of this for me. They get tested as a job requirement and I do the same. Keeping my sexual health a priority goes both ways and especially for BB that mutual accountability is something casual hookups just don’t offer.
