First off, just found this place a couple weeks ago and I’m really loving it. Such a higher level of discussion than other places I’ve seen the last few months.
So I’ve been dealing with what my doctors believe is Long Covid for nearly two years. Hardly anybody in the general public, including providers, really knows what that is, and I understand. There’s no test for it, no 100 percent diagnosis, and the symptoms vary from person to person.
For me, it’s meant crippling chronic fatigue, shortness of breath, shaking (all the time), ringing in my ears, moderate hearing loss, and an intolerance to exercise.
Work suffered, relationships suffered, quality of life suffered, and on came depression and isolation. That’s part of the reason I got back into the hobby after merely dabbling about 15 years prior. This has given me something to look forward to, and a reason to better take care of myself despite the challenges.
Since April, I’ve been with seven providers and the experiences have been solid-to-unforgettable.
There are certain things I’m incapable of atm, however, including mish and doggy. After a couple thrusts I’d be gasping for breath and I’d definitely lose whatever erection I had.
While chatting about it toward the end of a session with one particularly great provider a couple months ago, she politely said “you’re a great lover, but yeah…I did want it from behind.” (And I’m confident that would have been quite a sight)
So far, I’ve largely been informing the provider at the start of the actual session, but that sometimes seems to lead to an awkward start. Any guidance on how to better handle this?
