I’ve always been fascinated by the allure of a full bush, though I’ve never experienced one firsthand. Every provider I’ve seen has either gone with a neat landing strip or been completely bare—and while there’s nothing wrong with that, I’ve always wanted to check a full bush off my bucket list. The bush, in my opinion, has gotten a bad reputation in recent years. Whether due to shifting cultural norms or misconceptions about hygiene, it’s often overlooked. After some reflection and research, I’ve realized the disdain for a full bush seems to stem from three main factors: hygiene, culture, and confidence.
From an early age, we’re often taught that body hair on women is unattractive or, worse, unhygienic. The idea that a woman should have hair only on her head—and nowhere else—has become deeply ingrained in societal norms. But equating body hair with poor hygiene is a massive misconception. A woman is perfectly capable of maintaining a full bush just as well as a man maintains a beard. While, yes, there’s a difference between facial hair and pubic hair, if a provider takes proper care of themselves (as most do), there’s no legitimate reason to think a full bush is inherently unhygienic.
Let’s be honest—porn has done a lot to shape our preferences. The industry often pushes a very specific aesthetic: slim, toned bodies with smooth, hairless skin. Seeing this repeatedly has normalized the look for many men, and it’s easy to carry that preference into real life. This isn’t necessarily anyone’s fault. It’s difficult to change something ingrained for so long. But I’d argue there’s beauty in breaking free from that norm and appreciating the natural aesthetic—a thick, lush bush included.
How a woman carries herself can mean everything to a man, just as a man’s confidence can matter to a woman. For some women, confidence might come from having a neatly groomed or shaved appearance. But, in my opinion, it takes a whole different level of self-assurance to embrace and showcase a full bush. That natural, unapologetic look is incredibly appealing, not just because it defies convention, but because it highlights a woman’s comfort in her own skin.
At its core, grooming choices—whether bare, trimmed, or full—are deeply personal. What’s most important is that each individual feels comfortable with their body. Mutual respect for those choices matters, whether in civilian relationships or within the hobby.
As for me? I still think a full bush is sexy as hell, and I couldn’t care less who knows it. That’s just my preference, and I’m sticking to it.
