Horrific news rocked the sex industry this week.
A sex worker, who was also a mother, was strangled to death by an army veteran who snapped during their session at the Palms Resort in Las Vegas on June 12.
The veteran, Jason Kendall, turned himself in on June 28. The alleged motive was that the sex worker requested additional payment after their agreed time, which led Jason to snap. He proceeded to strike her face multiple times, choked her for 'at least 10 minutes', and then had sex with her, essentially, lifeless body.
Afterwards, he dragged her body out of the room, called 911 to report an 'overdose', and fled the crime scene.
Jason is now in custody without bail, facing multiple charges including open murder and sexual assault.
Larissa Garcia (the sex-worker in question) died a week later at a hospital in Vegas due to her injuries.
