I'm not a fan of rumors. At times, they help us navigate the hobby with clearer insight, sometimes even leading to the results we were hoping for. But more often than not, they go nowhere—leaving us disappointed, misinformed, and worse, misled. Still, when certain types of rumors begin to surface, particularly ones involving serious health concerns, it’s best to pause and take them seriously, even if they end up being nothing at all.

Screenshot 2025-05-15 005119.pngRecently, one such rumor has begun circulating—and it involves a well-known content creator in certain circles: TrippiRose. Last year, I wrote about her, highlighting her rising fame and the collaborations she’s done with other notable creators, including frequent partner Candy Got Cake. These two were seemingly inseparable for a stretch—Candy often shooting Trippi’s content behind the camera, including that gangbang from late last year where Trippi took center stage.

But now, things appear to have soured between them. And not quietly either. Candy has taken to social media, blasting Trippi’s personal and professional details out into the open. And before getting into the meat of the situation, I want to be clear: I know what this looks like. It reads like a bitter fallout, the kind where one party uses whatever influence they have to try and ruin the other’s reputation. We've all seen it, it's happened so many times. Where a broken friendship leads to public shade and ugly consequences.

Still, as clients, we have to take health-related claims seriously. No matter the context or motivation, any suggestion that a provider may knowingly or unknowingly be spreading an STI cannot be ignored.

According to Candy’s posts, two particular health concerns came up. The first is frequent yeast infections. Yeast infections aren’t the most alarming issue—they’re common and treatable. But Candy claims Trippi may have let hers go untreated to the point where more serious medical care was needed. That’s worth paying attention to if true.

The second—and more serious—allegation is that Trippi may have been the source of a mycoplasma genitalium (MGen) outbreak stemming from the aforementioned gangbang. If you’ve been in the hobby or in the adult space long enough, you know MGen was a hot-button issue in the industry last year, causing widespread concern. There’s no confirmation here, but again, even a rumor like this needs to be treated with a certain level of seriousness.

All of this is news to me. I don’t usually follow this side of the industry too closely, especially when it dips into the chaos that some of these creator circles seem to thrive in. To be blunt, the ratchet behavior some of these women display just isn't appealing, and I can't imagine many clients find it enticing either. One look at Candy’s current content and persona says plenty.

I genuinely hope none of this is true. Trippi seems like a cool creator who puts out strong content and has a solid following. But if she is knowingly—or even unknowingly—putting others at risk, then that’s a serious breach of professionalism in this line of work. Sex work, like any work involving physical intimacy, requires a high standard of care and accountability. Anything less endangers not just the client but the entire community.
