Last month, the Mayor of Colombias second biggest city, Medellin, banned prostitution for six months after a tourist were found having sex with two girls aged 13 & 12.
The ban will not be lifted after the six months has passed but it will be taken up to consideration.
The 36 year old man was let go by the colombian authorities within 24 hours and later returned home to his own country.
The Mayor of Medellin spoke to national tv, stating “It is sad to see how many people believe they can come to Medellín and do whatever they want”.
It IS a huge problem, not only in South America but in a large part of Asia aswell.
Poverty brings crime unfortunately.
There doesn’t Seem to be an ending to these problems.
