I’m sure we’re all familiar with Sophie Rain and how she supposedly showed proof that she made over $75,000,000 on the platform. Granted, 20% of that goes to OnlyFans, and then she has to pay taxes on the income (depending on which state she lives in), so she probably takes home what — around $55,000,000?

What really grinds my gears is the guys who tip her. I’ve looked into the inner workings of OF, and I’d estimate that 70% of that $75 million came from tips. Pretty sad, honestly.

We’ve already talked about how OF is being sued for false and deceptive practices, especially involving the use of so-called “chatters.” Let’s hope OF loses in court.

What I really don’t understand is why some guys tip people like Sophie Rain. I guarantee you there are guys out there tipping half of their monthly salary — just to chat with “Sophie,” who is actually just a chatter or part of an agency.

How did society get to this point? A decent chunk of OF’s customer base is made up of guys who would rather sit at home and chat with a virtual girl they have zero chance of ever even meeting, than actually go out and interact with real women.

There are guys who’d rather do that than be with someone real. Spend $5,000 on an e-girl? Oh yes. But spend $500 on a provider? Heck no — that’s “too much work.”

Sadly, I doubt this trend will reverse anytime soon.

Just some fruit for thought on this first day of the week.
