This approach (IF the nordic model is implemented in every country) can push sex work underground, making it harder for workers to screen clients and seek help when needed. It also fails to address the root causes of why people enter sex work, such as poverty and lack of opportunities.
Furthermore, by stigmatizing clients, it perpetuates a climate of fear and discrimination, which can increase violence and reduce safety for sex workers.
