The Deposit is Sent; Why am I Ghosting my Provider?

I’ve been trying to think of a number of reasons why we ghost providers after setting up an appointment. I’m trying to put the ball in our corner, because as much as I enjoy being with a provider, I’m a client at the end of the day and I’ll always do my best to defend us. That being said, it’s usually really fucking hard to continue defending us when we do dumb shit. Case in point: when we ghost a provider after sending the deposit. As you can see, “sending the deposit” is underlined, because I don’t see any reason to leave a provider on read if the money is sent. So, my curiosity on this has grown.

Forget everything that’s happening up until that point. Forget that the provider gets ready for you both physically and mentally that topic’s been spoken about before. We already know the amount of time and money a provider takes to get ready for a client. I’m specifically talking about what it takes for a client to ghost a provider when the money is sent. As in, what’s going through their mind to do this. I narrowed it down to a few things because, again, I’m curious.

The first thing being panic. I believe the panic can come from anywhere. It could be the first provider you’re seeing ever. Maybe you’re rethinking the amount of money you’re spending on this provider compared to others. Or possibly, you booked impulsively, realizing you really didn’t want to see this woman and now you’d rather lose out on the money than follow through. Yeah, this shit doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me, given I’ve never ghosted a provider. I’ve walked out on one, but never ghosted.

Second, getting your rocks off. Booking a provider just for the thrill of it seems pretty diabolical. For reference, when I say thrill, I mean choking your chicken. I’ve heard of dudes doing this, and this one has me at a loss. Some actually spend time replying to emails, talking likes, and adding more to the session, all while knowing they’re going to ghost the provider in the end. Again, this shit doesn’t make sense to me, as I’ll be damned if I do all that work and not have my dick in a pussy. On top of that, I sent a deposit.

Lastly, there’s post-nut clarity (PNC). Or you can look at this as pre-nut clarity, with you not following through with the booking. Yeah, something like that. Anyway, some would consider this the only reason to ghost a provider even I could, a little. PNC is a killer in this hobby, as it can have you rethink everything after you get that first climax with a provider. It can kill the mood as well as have you in your head. This could have us ghost providers, as PNC is worth avoiding. Still, as many PNCs as I’ve had in this hobby, I follow through. The deposit is sent—what the hell else am I going to do?

This is all I was able to make sense of as to why clients ghost after sending a deposit. Nothing else makes sense. What I gather is that I don’t believe the hobby is made for everyone. Some will find the right woman, do the research (or not), book, and then send the deposit, only to ghost the provider without a reason. Doing what we do isn’t hard, but I don’t believe it’s easy either. Some just enjoy being on the sidelines, reading an exciting review once in a while, and going as far as to send a deposit just to not go any further than that. No shame in it. All I know is it couldn’t be me. If I’m sending a deposit, I’m seeing that provider. I’m in the game, and it’s staying that way.
