I saw this and immediately thought of the hobby and content creators. From my point of view, I feel like there is going to be a transition that a lot of us are going to have to go through in real time. One of my friends believe Skype being gone won't matter. As providers usually have two phones and will have to move forward with Facetime more often or switch to other platforms such a google duos or Microsoft Teams.

I doubt Facetime will be normalize and we'll just move to another platform.

FaceTime can now be done on Android phones and PCs in addition to iPhones, iPads and Macs, although I’m pretty sure it still has to be started from an Apple device. I’m not sure how anonymous you’re able to make yourself on any of the platforms, but at least it’s not just limited to Apple devices anymore.

It really was, but nobody seems to use it anymore. It really felt like this came out of nowhere. I've only ever used meets a handful of time. With it being as difficult as it is I can see some providers and/or content creators saying fuck it.

Another option i have used is both telegram and WhatsApp both do video phone calls but again need a # for those although if i remember correctly one provider i was gonna see who canceled on me due to "partying to hard the night b4 and passing out" had just her username in her telegram (I think there's a way to hide the phone number on it for privacy)

I’ve done video calls on Snapchat, IG, WhatsApp and some Facetimes after they are comfortable exchanging digits. Skype going away is no big deal. Girls will adjust

Really curious how this will play out since I know many pornstars on OF that offer Skype calls. Whatsapp requires giving your phone number however telegram you can use just a username and have your phone number hidden.
