My general curiosity around certain agencies has peaked lately—especially when it comes to Rising Sun. It's an agency I still can't fully believe exists in the way it does, but by all accounts, it’s real, and people are actually starting to talk about it.
I mentioned Rising Sun once before—back when Summer Col (Tryst Agency) was being repped by them. That surprised both our side of the hobby and the AMP (Asian Massage Parlor) crowd. After that, I hadn’t seen her on their roster again… until today. A friend showed me that she’d been added back—at least briefly. Her profile went up, then just as quickly came down. No idea why, but that gave me a chance to poke around their roster.
From what I saw, I didn’t recognize a single woman. I haven’t heard of them, nor have I seen them in any films, if they've been in any. What is clear, though, is that most of these women are straight from Japan.
We all know by now that a lot of Japanese women come to the U.S. for better opportunities. Whether or not they’re adult stars, they’re making way more money here than they could back home. And while Japanese porn isn’t something a lot of folks follow closely in the States, those in the know will tell you—some of the sexiest and most unique women in the game come from Japan, and they’ve got real skills. Strange to us sometimes, but very real.
Rising Sun—and a few other agencies I still need to research—are starting to pop up more and more. I just don’t know if they’re trustworthy yet. Agencies like this have always been the kind I’ve stayed away from for a number of reasons. LE being one of them. I’ve never even been to an AMP, if that tells you anything.
Still… I’m curious. Being with a Japanese woman would be a whole different experience from what we’re used to here. And if I don’t experience that at least once? I know I’ll end up regretting it.
