What I mean by that is exactly what I wrote—these lovely ladies get showered with gifts, and it doesn't stop there. Some clients even go as far as proposing to them or making offers to "buy them out" of sex work.

One of my PPM/ATF providers has gotten everything from perfumes to iPads and iPhones, designer handbags, and even jewelry. The most expensive gift she ever received was a €3,000 Versace dress, though that came from a very wealthy client, I was told. It’s really nuts what some clients are willing to give these girls—it’s like every single one is trying to be her absolute favorite.
But it doesn’t stop there. She’s also been proposed to—literally, with a ring. She turned the poor guy down, and I can only imagine how that must have felt. She’s also had several clients make offers for her, usually along the lines of moving in with them and receiving a monthly allowance in exchange for quitting sex work. Which, to be fair, makes sense from the guy’s perspective. But she turned down every single offer.
There is an endless supply of gifts and proposals for these girls. So… will you, I, or anyone else ever truly come out as the "favorite"? No. And it doesn’t matter who you are.
