Provider Caught Between a Bad Erection and a Bad Day

This was something to read, I tell you. When I say this was unexpected, I mean it really was—and I couldn’t stop reading. There’s already more than enough conversation about erections in the community. It’s one of the main reasons I stopped writing about it altogether. But hearing it from another client? That always hits differently. Hearing it from a provider, though—especially one clearly having a day—gives an entirely new perspective.

So, a provider went on a bit of a rant. A teachable one in more ways than one, but a rant nonetheless. Out of nowhere, she decided to let male clients know why they were having such a hard time keeping erections. In a way nobody really asked for—but still, she dropped some knowledge even I didn’t know.

GpQfxC-WcAAXp8F.jpgFirst, she dug into the topic of sensation—or the lack of it. Her theory? A lot of guys don’t feel much during covered sex because of porn addiction. She pointed to studies that back this up, suggesting overstimulation from porn can dull sensation and reduce enjoyment with a condom. While I think there are plenty of reasons covered sex isn’t all that exciting, this angle was new. But hey, providers know their stuff. Maybe she’s onto something.

Then came the real shocker: erections are tied to oral health. Not just a little bit—she claimed your ability to get and maintain an erection, your blood flow, your sensitivity... all of it can be directly impacted by what’s going on in your mouth. I had no idea. I’d bet most of us didn’t, considering how unrelated those two parts of the body seem.

To her credit, she dropped an entire Google search worth of links proving her point. That added weight to what she was saying, even though it was clear she wasn’t just educating—she was venting.

And she wasn’t having it from anyone trying to argue. She clapped back at every troll who wasn’t engaging with her in good faith. Yeah, she got out of character a little, but the dudes coming for her were acting like clowns. You could tell something happened right before she wrote this post, and this rant was her way of blowing off steam.

Still, the whole thing was eye-opening—and yeah, kind of entertaining too. I learned something. It reminded me that providers are human. They have bad days just like the rest of us, and if they want to get something off their chest, they should have the space to do it. I just never thought I’d see a full-on breakdown about erections like that.

Whoever the client was that set her off? He knows who he is. And hopefully, he’s somewhere right now rethinking everything.
