There seems to be some backlash over the "PornCompanions is Terrible" post being deleted, so let me address this now.
Deleting the post was difficult, but it was necessary. @lockflow49 came to the forum to rant, and by all means, he's allowed to do so. We all have reasons to vent, and when it comes to PC, I figure many of us greatly need that space. I read the OP's post, and while he ranted, I understood the frustration—which is why I initially ignored the name-calling in the post.
TSC isn't liked by many of us here. Given that she was the main focus of the post, I chose to overlook certain aspects of it. However, I firmly believe that no one should be called out of their name for any reason. TSC being called a "bitch," "cunt," and every other insult might resonate with some, but that doesn't justify such behavior. This was a failure on the MODs' part. We should have made this clear to @lockflow49 before the post gained the traction it did as he is new.
We don't play favorites here, and we don't give special treatment. I can't tell one person to watch their language while allowing a widely viewed post full of blatant disrespect to remain. I realized this when people started DMing me about the situation, confirming what I already knew the moment I read the post.
Now, with that said, I understand that some people are upset about the post being deleted because it contained valuable information. You're right; it did. I apologize for removing that information, but not for deleting the thread. The information is still within the community.
If you think deleting the thread because a woman was repeatedly insulted was wrong, that's fine. You have the right to feel however you like, but that isn't a precedent the MODs are willing to set. I saw how this behavior started during the Reddit days, and once it begins, it doesn't stop. I'll be damned if I let us become what that Reddit group turned into.
Now, I know some of you have your concerns and opinions on the matter. Please feel free to share them here.
