A new breed of malware called Stealerium is targeting users browsing porn, secretly capturing webcam photos and screenshots for blackmail. This open-source infostealer, steals passwords, personal information, and more while spying on NSFW tabs via keywords like "porn" or "sex." Tech researchers have tracked campaigns since May 2025, spreading through phishing emails mimicking banks or courts - or really any official institution.

Once infected, it evades detection, grabs data, and exfiltrates via Discord or Telegram.
IT Experts call the auto-webcam feature during porn sessions "unheard of," amplifying sextortion risks by providing real evidence for shakedowns.

It´s a new scary reality. Personally I get pishing emails/texts about once every second-third day. That won´t ever stop, sadly.
