I can no longer login to OF until I go through their age verification process. This is obviously a good idea for a creator account but as a fan it kind of...

I can no longer login to OF until I go through their age verification process. This is obviously a good idea for a creator account but as a fan it kind of bothers me. Anybody else bothered by this?

Going to assume you're in the US, which you can now thank Republicans for that. OF is just following the law(s). A VPN solves the issue, but as I've experienced, if you try to log in to your OF from a state that now has a porn ID law, your OF account will permanently have the ID flag on it and will require you to verify age even if you log back in from an IP in a state that doesn't have any porn laws (likely intentional to save them from any lawsuits from republicans).

But not gonna be much longer I bet before the supreme court/congress has porn ID laws nation wide. You can thank the Republicans and their Christian Fascism.

I can still sign in. But I’m pretty sure I’ve had to scan my ID to verify my debit card but that was over a year ago

That makes sense. I was in Nashville this past week and I noticed the issue when I tried to login. My guess is Tennessee has one of these laws. Now that I am back in my home base, NYC area, it does look like the verify flag is permanent.
