Just walk in. There's only one person at the desk and if you walk in like you have a room you'll be fine.

So I assume this was an incall?

If it's an outcall - are some girls picky about hotels? I"m willing to pay like $200-300 to make sure it's nice and doesn't ruin the mood ofc, but I'd rather spend more money on providers.

It's weird because I'd rather they don't have keycards so the girl can just come up, but at the same time the lack of security makes me think I'd get discovered in the absolute worst case if someone were prying... How to manage this anxiety haha

I haven't read this entire post, but I've seen a few hotels I've used mentioned.

No hotel I've been to in NY has ever bothered me about walking into the lobby with no card. I either headed straight to the elevator and gone up myself, or my date met me downstairs.

The busier the hotel, the less they pay attention to each individual person. Staff has even been friendly and helpful to me. A couple of times, at slower hotels with smaller lobbies, it must have been pretty obvious what I was there for, but they didn't seem to care.

Those were incalls. The couple times I've gotten the room, I've met my date outside, we walked in together, and it was no big deal.

When I booked a DayUse to meet Kate Dalia (Porn Companions) for an outcall a few weeks ago, it required a key card. I went to meet her downstairs, but her Uber driver took the wrong turn and ended up taking over 10 minutes extra to get her to me. By the time she got there, I had been standing in the corner of a very small, not very busy lobby, and when she got out of the cab and walked in dressed in a sexy, skimpy outfit, I’m sure the staff knew exactly what was going on. We had to wait by the elevator for about 30 seconds, which was only 7 or 8 feet from the desk where the staff were standing. It was definitely awkward and I would’ve preferred getting a hotel without a key card for her comfort. I think I’ll spend more next time to make sure of that.

Hotel staff don't care as long as it doesn't look like human trafficking or larceny. I just chill and act like I belong. What also works is meeting on the street and walking in separately and one follows the other to the elevator. Can also meet on a public M floor if the hotel has one.

My last visit, I walked into the hotel lobby, the girl working the desk said "Welcome back, sir", I thanked her and promptly went left because it looked like the elevators were that way. After wondering around for about 30 seconds like an idiot, because nothing was over there, not even seats with her watching me the entire time, she finally says "Looks like you forgot the elevators are over here, sir". She had a grin that said she knew exactly why I was there.

Lesson learned, I will always ask which way to the elevators from the provider if I haven't booked it.

I've rendezvoused with My ATF** 78x ... at high-end hotels all over NNJ!
I never had a problem!
It was always smooth sailing!
My ATF was street-smart; she told me in the hotels that she operated out of (DoubleTrees, Hiltons, Sheratons) .... you did not need a key card if you accessed the first 2 floors!
So, she always booked a room on the 2nd floor (at the end of the corridor far from the elevators and prying eyes)!
She would, never, schlep down to the lobby to meet her clients and then escort them to the elevator!
(How conspicuous would that be?)
That ain't gunna work for a street-smart provider ... who makes it a point to be discrete and maintain a low profile at her hotels!
How much attention would THAT get from the front desk?
My ATF** would never execute such an ill-conceived business model!
Her forte was emerging from behind the door ... all dolled-up in a Victoria's Secret Baby Doll in a pair of 5" CFM Louboutins!

Unfortunately most of the high-end strip casinos require key cards these days. Some only require them late night but not during the day. I have never had a problem meeting a date at the elevator tho. Also, the girls showing up at these hotels are aware and dress appropriately to not draw undo attention. I have also met girls in a shop off the casino or at the casino bar.

When I was in Vegas in January, both of my dates had to meet me downstairs. One, the porn star, was dressed fairly casually and didn’t draw any attention. The other, a fashion model, was dressed to kill and said she knows that everyone knew why she was there and didn’t care. Neither did I.

Massive hotel, great lobby bathrooms and multiple bars/restaurants/cafes if you get there too early and need to wait a few mins

Aura Hotel
120 W 44th St, New York, NY 10036
Low key this place was just gut renovated and it is great. I met a provider there and when I walked in, the concierge said “welcome back!”

Late on this but I've met providers at incalls at The Viceroy earlier this year and I didn't need a keycard to enter the building or access the elevators.

Tysons Embassy Suites was good too.

Ixelles - Center of Brussels. Although only 3-star, it's a boutique hotel that uses physical metal keys for rooms, and there's no key-required elevator—guests can come and go easily.

Sablon - Same as Ixelles but 4 stars.
