NEVER Pursue an "Old-Flame"

By old flame, I mean an ATF or SB you’ve already said goodbye to. Maybe not just once, but twice. It’s almost never a good idea to try reconnecting — especially if a lot of time has passed or if the last interaction didn’t end on a strong note.

In my experience, it rarely ends well. I’ve tried it more times than I’d like to admit. Once, after four months of no contact, I reached out to an ATF. We talked for about a week and a half… and then silence again. Six months later I tried one last message on WhatsApp, and the response was:

“We don’t have anything to talk about. Move on with your life.

Harsh, but fair. Point taken.

Other attempts over the years didn’t end as brutally, but the pattern was the same: once the energy, routine, and vibe are gone - it’s hard to resurrect.

And here’s an important note: not all, but some providers develop a mindset where they believe they’re untouchable - that every client owes them attention or loyalty. Especially the ones who are constantly surrounded by validation, gifts, and offers. They have options.
If they cut you off, there are ten, fifteen, even more “VIP” clients waiting in the wings.

So chasing the past rarely works.

If two or three months have already passed with zero communication, do yourself a favor and let it stay in the past. The chemistry, the rhythm, the exclusivity and the excitement - it doesn’t transfer forward once that gap exists. You can’t force the same dynamic back into existence.

Because here’s the truth:

Another ATF - a better one - always shows up.
