--I have told/shown some performers/sex workers how to get their data off these people search websites, which can reduce the google-able stalking (request removal and it works sometimes). It won't stop the home follows, which happens to performers. In the last few months a performer, posted her boarding pass in her true name on her Instagram stories, so she will probably have visitors to her apt/home as well. It took seconds to find out where she lived, I told one of her colleagues please don't do this as this performer is a real rising star.
--When I showed a performer how, we went from using a people search site to then going to Zillow; and determining the house she shoots her Youtube content was her home, she was in shock. Blocking your home on Google Maps, doesn't stop the real estate listing sites from displaying past pictures of your home. You can write to Zillow, Redfin, etc and get those listing removed too.
--It's hard to be a ghost, and candidly Mfers going to exceed the limit. So I try to tell sex workers/pornstars how to protect themselves because it's scary out here and some want to do harm to them.
--Also please don't put your performer name LLC and leave your true name as the POC, if you don't want people at your door.
--Don't show your personal car in the Youtube and Instagram vids, it just provides confirmation for stalkers and robbers.
